News of the Past Professional and CardWare have a clever feature that lets the user receive birthday reminders when the program opens.

The user can set the reminder to populate the name list with people needing greetings before the occasion happens, giving you plenty of time to printing.

The following pictures show you how the birthday reminder works.

In our example, the birthday reminder triggers 4 greetings in need of printing. When the software is opened the following window pops up giving you the option to ignore or click yes.

This next picture is the result of clicking yes. The recipient database list (name list) is populated with names ready for printing.
